FAQS
ARE YOU INSURED?
I am fully insured with PetPlan Sanctuary. I hold an up to date DBS check, and I am pet First Aid trained. These documents are always available for you to view, and all pet business should hold a valid insurance.
HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?
My group walks are a maximum of four, and dogs will only be able to partake in group walks with good recall, and who are social towards other dogs. Dogs taking part in a group walk for the first time will be carefully introduced to the others before commencing, and I will continuously assess all dogs suitability to walk together in a group.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY WHILST YOU ARE CARING FOR MY DOG?
Upon our first meeting, you will be sent a consent form outlining your usual veterinary practice. If your pet requires urgent veterinary care whilst with me, I will endeavour to contact you or your emergency contact in the first instance. If no contact can be made, I will take your pet to either your usual practice, or the closest one to me if it is time critical. I will then continue to try and contact you. I am trained in pet first aid, and where possible I will administer appropriate first aid before we attend a veterinary hospital.
WILL YOU MEET US BEFORE YOU PROVIDE SERVICES?
I will always provide a free meet and greet before any services commence. This is to ensure that the services are suitable for us both, and gives me a chance to meet you and your pets. Under no circumstances will services be provided without a meet and greet, and your pets must be present during this meeting. If you are a usual client, and add another pet into your household I will require a visit to meet them before services commence with the new pet. After a meet and greet, bookings are then confirmed.
